National University System To Deploy Talisma CRM

The National University System is replacing the current constituent relationship management (CRM) module of its ERP system with Talisma CRM. The change is intended to provide National with greater flexibility and extensibility, allowing the system to be custom configured to fit the organization's unique needs.

The new solution will be deployed across all of National's affiliate institutions, including National University, National Polytechnic College of Science, and Spectrum Pacific Learning Co. LLC, among others. Initial uses for the new platform have included admissions and recruitment. Future uses for the system are also being explored.

"The National University System is like many of our customers who come to Talisma for our 'out of the box' functionality for higher education," said Craig Stanford, vice president of Talisma Higher Education, in a prepared statement. "Customizing a CRM is just too time consuming and therefore too costly for your typical institution. Talisma's CRM is designed and built specifically for higher education, allowing our clients to deploy the solution in as few as 90 days, and continue to evolve the solution to meet future needs through wizard driven configuration."

According to Talisma, the CRM platform integrates a variety of technologies, including e-mail, phone, chat, SMS text messaging, print, application management, and event management, among other things. The National University System is currently using Talisma CRM in its contact center for a variety of student services.
