Some Background

The Coalition for Networked Information is one source for related materials. Your best background reading bet is its white paper, edited by Clifford Lynch, entitled A White Paper on Authentication and Access Management Issues in Cross-organizational Use of Networked Information Resources. Prepared in the Spring of 1998, it is the result of a long preparation process including email list review and face to face meetings of topical experts.Additional background on this topic can be found at the Digital Library Federation's website.

We thought you'd like to know about three books we used to get ready for this TechTalk session. For your convenience, in association with Amazon.com, we've provided links to where you can purchase the books.
